Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Amsyncapital Sdn Bhd ("Synlinker", "we", "us"), a company registered in Malaysia. By creating an account or using synlinker.com you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account and all content published on your bio page.
• One person or business per account. Usernames are allocated first-come, first-served; we may reclaim usernames that infringe trademarks, impersonate others, or remain unused on inactive accounts.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use Synlinker to publish or link to content that:

• is illegal under Malaysian law, or promotes illegal activity;
• is fraudulent, deceptive, or operates a scam (including phishing and fake investment schemes);
• infringes intellectual property rights of others;
• contains malware or attempts to compromise visitors' devices or data;
• is sexually explicit involving minors, promotes violence, or harasses others;
• impersonates another person, brand or organisation.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules. Anyone can flag a page via our report form.

3. Plans, billing and trials

• The Free plan is free forever, with feature limits shown on our pricing page.
• Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed as a recurring subscription in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) at the prices shown at checkout.
• Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You can cancel during the trial without charge.
• You may cancel anytime from your dashboard; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle.

3A. NFC cards

An NFC card is a physical product sold by us, not a subscription, and is charged once at the price shown at checkout.

• Before dispatch — you may cancel and we will refund you in full.
• After dispatch — the card is not refundable, because it is produced and posted for you.
• Faulty or wrong item — tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it at our cost.
• Delivery is within Malaysia unless we agree otherwise. We will give you a tracking reference where one is available.

Nothing in this section affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you publish. You grant us a licence to host, display and distribute that content solely to operate the service (including showing your public bio page and generating link previews). You are responsible for having the rights to everything you publish.

5. Transactions between page owners and their visitors

5.1 We are not a party to these transactions. Appointment bookings, product sales, orders and payment links on a bio page are agreements between the page owner and the visitor. Synlinker provides the tools that display them. We are not the seller, we do not take title to any goods, and we do not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, legality or delivery of anything offered by a page owner.

5.2 Deal directly with the page owner. If you buy from or book with a page owner, that page owner is your counterparty. Questions about your order, changes, cancellation, delivery, warranty, returns and refunds must be raised directly with them using the contact details shown on their page. Synlinker does not process refunds for those transactions, does not hold the money, and does not arbitrate disputes between a buyer and a page owner. Any refund is given by the page owner, on their own terms.

5.3 We do not vet page owners. Having a Synlinker page does not mean we have verified the owner's identity, business registration, licences, or the goods and services they offer. Nothing on a bio page is an endorsement or recommendation by Synlinker.

5.4 If you are a page owner who sells through Synlinker. You are the supplier, and you are responsible for complying with the law that applies to your own sales. Under the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transaction) Regulations 2024 this includes showing your name and contact details, a description and price for each item, the payment methods you accept, your terms of sale including any returns and refunds policy, and an estimated delivery time. You are also responsible for your own tax obligations. Keep this information accurate and up to date.

5.5 Indemnity. If a claim, demand, fine or investigation is brought against Synlinker or Amsyncapital Sdn Bhd because of what you sold, advertised or published on your page, or because you did not meet an obligation to a buyer, you will indemnify us against it, including reasonable legal costs.

5.6 Complaints. A buyer who cannot resolve a problem with a page owner may lodge a complaint with us through our report form. We can act on the page — we may warn the owner, restrict or remove content, or suspend the account — but we cannot recover your money or compel a page owner to perform. That stays a matter between you and them. Nothing in this section takes away rights you have under Malaysian consumer law.

5.7 Records. Where the law requires it of us as a marketplace operator, we keep records about page owners who sell through Synlinker — including name, contact details, business registration details and transaction records — for the period the law prescribes, and disclose them to the authorities when required. 6. Service availability

We aim to keep Synlinker available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Synlinker is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999. If any part of this section is held unenforceable, the rest of it continues to apply.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Sections that by nature should survive (content licence for backups, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
